About this event
NYC Parks builds an interactive haunted house on the basketball courts of J. Hood Wright Park in Washington Heights. Walk through at any point in the three-hour window, in costume. Expect frightening imagery and special effects, sudden movements and jump scares, loud audio and flashing lights — it is pitched at older children rather than toddlers.
Why we picked it
A real, built haunted walk-through in a Manhattan park, free, and it returns the next afternoon as a full festival.
