Terms of Service

Version 2 · Last updated 3 July 2026.

1. Who we are

Glentio is operated by Cuaresma Veloso Richard, an individual entrepreneur (empresario individual / autónomo) established in Spain — NIF 45695668G, registered business address Calle Montenegro 3, 2º Dcha 3, 07012 Palma, Spain, VAT number ES45695668G. References to “Glentio”, “we” or “us” mean this operator. You can reach us at legal@glentio.com.

Glentio is a platform that helps people discover, create, share and join real-world events. For paid events, the organiser is the seller and merchant of record; Glentio acts as a disclosed intermediary that provides the platform and collects its own service fee. Glentio is not the organiser of the events listed and is not a party to the contract between an organiser and an attendee.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to use Glentio. You must be at least 18 years old to buy or sell tickets or to hold an organiser account, and at least 14 years old (the minimum age for consent to data processing in Spain) to hold a personal account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

Use Glentio lawfully and follow our Community Guidelines. Do not post misleading events, infringe others’ rights, attempt to disrupt the service, or use it to harm others.

4. Events and tickets

Organisers are solely responsible for their events, including descriptions, pricing, entry, capacity, conduct on the day, and compliance with applicable law. Tickets are issued on the organiser’s behalf. If you are an organiser, our Organiser Terms also apply.

5. Illegal content, moderation and reporting

Glentio is a hosting service under the EU Digital Services Act. Anyone can report content they consider illegal or in breach of these terms using the report action on an event, or by emailing trust@glentio.com, giving enough detail for us to assess it. We review reports and may remove, disable or restrict content or accounts. Where we act against content you provided, we will give you a statement of reasons and information on how to appeal, unless we are legally prevented from doing so. Our decisions do not affect your right to seek a remedy before a court.

6. Payments and fees

Payments are processed by Stripe on the organiser’s connected account. A transparent Glentio service fee is shown before purchase and is added to the buyer total. Glentio may delay organiser payouts and reserves the right to reverse or refund a transaction where required to protect users. See our Refund Policy.

7. Content and intellectual property

You retain rights to content you submit and grant Glentio a licence to host and display it to operate the service. Glentio’s brand and software remain Glentio’s property.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, Glentio is not liable for an organiser’s acts or omissions, for an event, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, and nothing affects the mandatory statutory rights of consumers.

9. Consumer rights and dispute resolution

If you deal with Glentio as a consumer, you keep all mandatory rights under Spanish and EU consumer law, and the protections of the country where you live. Before going to court you may use out-of-court dispute resolution: in Spain, the consumer arbitration boards (Juntas Arbitrales de Consumo) and municipal consumer offices (OMIC) are available. Complaints can also be sent to support@glentio.com.

10. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Disputes may be brought before the competent Spanish courts. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules, or the right to bring proceedings before the courts, of the country where you live.

11. Termination and changes

You may stop using Glentio at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in advance, and continued use after they take effect means acceptance.

12. Contact

Questions about these terms, and our point of contact for users and for authorities: legal@glentio.com.
