Community Guidelines
Version 2 · Last updated 3 July 2026.
Glentio works because people trust what they find here. These guidelines apply to everyone — creators, organisers and attendees.
1. Be respectful
No harassment, hate speech, threats, or discrimination on the basis of protected characteristics. Treat hosts and attendees with respect.
2. Keep events authentic
List real events with accurate details. No scams, fake listings, bait-and-switch pricing, or impersonation of people or organisations.
3. Stay lawful and safe
No illegal activity, dangerous goods, or events that put people at risk. Follow local laws and venue rules, including age restrictions.
4. Respect privacy
Don’t misuse attendee information you receive as an organiser. Use it only to run your event.
5. Reporting illegal or harmful content
Use the report action on any event, or email trust@glentio.com, to flag content you consider illegal or in breach of these guidelines. Explain what and where it is so we can assess it. We review every report and, where justified, may remove or disable content, limit its visibility, or restrict the account responsible.
6. When we act, and how to appeal
If we act against content you provided or against your account, we will tell you what we did and why (a statement of reasons), unless we are legally prevented from doing so. If you believe we got it wrong, you can appeal by contacting trust@glentio.com and we will review the decision. This does not affect your right to go to a court or a competent authority.
7. Enforcement
Depending on severity we may warn, remove content, limit features, or suspend accounts. Serious or repeated breaches — including repeatedly posting illegal or clearly unfounded content — can lead to a permanent ban.
