About this event
Partnerships for Parks runs It's My Park days across all five boroughs, and this is the East Village edition: a morning of planting, weeding and general care in Tompkins Square alongside the volunteers who keep it standing. Tools and gloves are provided, no experience is assumed, and two hours is the entire ask.
Why we picked it
The simplest way for a newcomer to meet the people who actually run a New York park, with a visible result by lunchtime.
