Organiser Terms

Version 2 · Last updated 3 July 2026.

1. You are the seller and merchant of record

When you list a paid event on Glentio, you are the seller and merchant of record for the tickets you sell. The contract for the event is between you and the attendee. Glentio provides the platform and acts as a disclosed intermediary; it is not the organiser of your events and is not a party to that contract.

2. Your responsibilities

You are responsible for delivering the event as described, for the accuracy of your listing, for setting and honouring your refund terms, and for collecting and remitting any taxes due on your sales (including VAT where applicable). You must comply with applicable laws and with our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

3. Glentio’s role and service fee

Glentio provides listing, checkout, ticketing and payout tooling and collects a platform service fee on paid tickets, disclosed before purchase. The fee depends on your plan and is shown transparently to buyers at checkout. Glentio does not set your ticket prices or refund terms.

We may revise the platform service fee from time to time, including as part of an annual review, and the fee may go up as well as down. We will give reasonable advance notice of any change; the revised fee applies to orders placed after it takes effect, and you may stop selling or close your account before then if you do not accept it.

4. How your events are ranked and shown

Where Glentio ranks or recommends events in ordinary discovery, search results or “what’s on” sections, the main parameters are the event’s relevance to the viewer’s search and filters, its date and recency, location and category, and genuine engagement signals such as real attendance. Your position in ordinary ranking does not depend on your subscription plan and is not for sale.

Separately, “Featured” and other priority or editorially curated placements are always labelled as such and are allocated by Glentio. Featured placement is offered as part of certain paid subscription plans (currently as “Featured promotion” on the Business plan), and Glentio may also grant it to any organiser on a case-by-case basis at its own discretion. Your subscription plan can therefore affect your eligibility for these labelled placements, even though it does not affect your position in ordinary ranking.

5. Payments and payouts

Card payments are processed through Stripe. You must complete Stripe Connect onboarding to receive payouts. Funds from your sales settle to your connected account; Glentio may apply a payout schedule or reserve, and may delay or withhold payouts to manage risk, fraud, disputes or refunds.

6. Refunds and chargebacks

Refunds are funded from your sales balance or future payouts. Where an event is cancelled or materially changed, buyers are entitled to a refund of the ticket price and Glentio may refund affected orders and reverse the corresponding payout. You are responsible for chargebacks arising from your events.

7. Tax information and reporting

As a digital platform, Glentio may be legally required to collect and report information about sellers and their earnings to tax authorities under the EU platform tax-reporting rules (Directive 2021/514, “DAC7”). You must provide accurate identity and tax information (including your name, address and tax identification / VAT number) when asked, and keep it current. We may suspend selling or payouts if required information is missing.

8. Changes, suspension and termination

We may change these terms; we will give you at least 15 days’ notice of changes (or longer where the law requires), and you may terminate before they take effect. We may restrict, suspend or end your ability to sell, or remove listings, where you breach these terms, applicable law, or the rights of attendees, or to manage risk. Except where the law or an urgent risk prevents it, we will give you a statement of the reasons and an opportunity to respond.

9. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint about our service, contact support@glentio.com and we will handle it in good faith. These terms are governed by Spanish law and the competent Spanish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory protections available to you.
