About this event
The Bronx River Alliance puts canoes on the water at Shoelace Park and lets the neighbourhood see the Bronx from its own river. Paddlers go out in waves on the hour — 11:00, 12:00, 13:00 and 14:00 — after a waiver and a short safety briefing, for about 30–40 minutes each. Roughly 15 people per wave; staff stay on the water throughout.
