A one-kilometre walk along the Parthe with NABU beaver specialist Jan Schöne, looking for where the animals live, what they have felled and what that does to the water. The Rosental is the city's own floodplain forest, so the excursion doubles as an argument about how Leipzig is rewilding its river system. Wear boots, bring binoculars.
