About this event
An audio-art performance that puts the women of autumn 1989 back at the centre of the story - the organisers, speakers and quiet operators whose part in the Peaceful Revolution and the months that followed tends to get written out. Staged in the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum, itself a free museum, in the run-up to the 9 October anniversary.
Why we picked it
Lands in the week before Leipzig's Lichtfest and reframes the city's founding modern story through the women who made it happen.
Free entry
Free - listed 'Eintritt frei'. Note the Zeitgeschichtliches Forum has free admission as standing house policy, so the free status is not specific to this event.
