About this event
The Zeitgeschichtliches Forum turns its attention to the garden as a German social space: allotment plots, Schrebergärten, dacha culture in the GDR, the politics of fences and what people grow, hide and display behind them. A characteristically well-made contemporary-history exhibition from the federal Haus der Geschichte foundation, and a good rainy-afternoon option in the city centre.
