About this event
Vilnius University’s Gaudeamus choir, one of Lithuania’s oldest student choirs, sings in St Pauli as part of the centenary year of Leipzig’s own university choir. Rasa Gelgotienė conducts Pärt, Vasks, Zakaras, Ešenvalds and Jekabsone, with two organists and soprano Laura Gedvilaitė.
Why we picked it
Baltic choral repertoire in the Paulinum’s extraordinary acoustic, sung by the people who grew up with it.
