About this event
A participatory house-dance session inside Lincoln Center's Clark Studio Theater, part of the Art of Wellbeing strand run with NewYork-Presbyterian. Expect rhythmic sequences, improvisation and a floor driven by house, lounge and funk tracks rather than a seated audience. It suits anyone curious about the New York club lineage who would rather learn the steps than watch them.
Why we picked it
A free, hands-on dance class at Lincoln Center is an unusually low-barrier way into a venue most visitors assume is ticket-only.
Free entry
Carries Lincoln Center's mutually exclusive FREE label on the Lincoln Center Presents calendar (the alternative label is Choose-What-You-Pay). Lincoln Center states that all tickets for Lincoln Center Presents events are Free or Choose-What-You-Pay.
