New work by Manhattan School of Music's composition students, coordinated by Reiko Futing. These evenings are the first public hearing for most of the pieces, played by fellow students who have workshopped them with the composer in the room. Chamber scale, wide stylistic range, and short enough that nothing outstays its welcome.
