About this event
The Bronx's own Halloween parade turns 41 with a Carnival of Nightmares theme: marching bands, stilt walkers, dancers, community groups and a very large amount of candy moving along Southern Boulevard. It carries on at Bill Rainey Park afterwards with a post-parade festival of performances and family activities.
Why we picked it
One of the borough's biggest community celebrations of the year, and a counterweight to the Manhattan parade a week later.

Listed as a free event with "free candy and giveaways"; no admission charge stated. Street parade, open route.
