About this event
A warm-hearted robot is dropped into a life-simulation called Life X and told to play a human named Sugi and find his purpose. The book uses the game frame to ask fairly direct questions about what a life is for. A lighter, stranger entry in the launch programme.
Why we picked it
Speculative fiction with a genuinely odd premise, free and an hour long.
Free entry
Festival programme page carries ticketAvailability "Free With Registration" and a "Free Event" register button linking to the festival's book-launch registration form; no ticket price is attached to the session.
