About this event
First published by Oxford in Asia in 1981 as the first book on Balinese dance by a Balinese author, Kaja and Kelod returns in a redesigned third edition with new research and illustrations. The launch celebrates master dancer and scholar Prof. I Made Bandem's eight decades, honours co-author Frederik DeBoer, and features an expanded introduction by cultural expert Bruce W. Carpenter.
