About this event
A biography of the Ubud-born prince who bridged a kingdom and Dutch colonial rule: punggawa of Ubud, member of the Volksraad, co-founder of the Pita Maha artists' movement with Rudolf Bonnet and Walter Spies, and the man who took Balinese dance to the 1931 Paris Colonial Exposition, before his 1946 election as a president. Launched inside an Ubud royal compound.
Why we picked it
Ubud's own royal history, told free inside a palace compound on the festival's final day.
