Violinist Joey Machin plays the Golden Violin Award recital: Bach, Saint-Saens and beyond, in the Four Seasons Centre's amphitheatre. Award recitals in this series tend to be the technically showiest hour of the month, since the player has something to prove, and it still costs nothing to sit in on it. Lunchtime, one hour.

Free, but new this season: guests are encouraged to register in advance. Entrance is restricted to registered ticket-holders for the first 15 minutes after doors open, then opened to anyone else as capacity permits until the performance begins. Groups larger than five must register through frangelyl@coc.ca.
