About this event
The Canadian Opera Company takes its Free Concert Series out of downtown and into a 1830s coaching inn in Etobicoke, with the Hasti Ensemble playing Persian classical music. An unusual pairing of room and repertoire, and a mid-afternoon start, which makes it one of the easier concerts in the series to get to without rearranging a working day.
Why we picked it
The COC's free series on the road in a 19th-century inn, with Persian classical music rather than opera.
Free entry
Programmed within the Canadian Opera Company's published 'Free Concert Series'. COC policy: 'It is our policy to overbook all free events' — reservation does not guarantee admission, and unclaimed reservations go to a standby line 15 minutes before start.
