About this event
New York high school students perform speeches and testimony drawn from Howard Zinn's A People's History of the United States, reworked around freedom and justice. It is spoken-word theatre with teenagers carrying the weight of it, which is exactly why it lands. Free in the Atrium, all ages.
Why we picked it
Young New Yorkers performing Zinn's primary-source testimony as theatre, free and unusually affecting.
