About this event
Before Le Corbusier, Maciej Nowicki had already drawn a Chandigarh of his own. This talk opens up the unbuilt scheme — a city planned around everyday life, climate and water rather than monumental axes — and what Indian modernism lost when Nowicki died in 1950. Ties into the Center's Humanist modernity exhibition.
