Bryant Park's winter season opens with the rink and the Holiday Shops at once: a 17,000 square foot ice rink that charges nothing to skate on, and an open-air market of New York and international artisans threaded through the park's allees and terraces. Skate hire costs money; bringing your own skates, or just browsing, costs nothing.
