About this event

Seventeen altars by professional artists and community groups fill Grand Park for ten days, curated this year by altarista Consuelo G. Flores on the theme 'The Power of One'. Open from eight in the morning until nine at night, free to walk, and with a community altar you can add to with a framed photo or a note.

Why we picked it

An outdoor exhibition you can wander at nine at night with the city lit behind it — and the altars reward a second, quieter visit away from the two big celebration days.

Free entry

Free, 10-day outdoor cultural exhibition, open daily 8 AM to 9 PM
