About this event

The Getty Center turns over a full day to Mexican culture and LA's Chicano/a communities, with mariachi, ballet folklórico, bilingual storytelling and hands-on art workshops spread across the hilltop campus. It is pitched at families but rewarding for anyone, and pairs neatly with the city's Día de los Muertos season. Parking carries a fee, so consider transit or a rideshare up to the tram.

Why we picked it

A daylong celebration of Mexican and Chicano/a culture at one of LA's landmark museums.
