About this event
Saxony's mining tradition parades through central Leipzig on the Day of German Unity: miners' guilds in full historic dress, brass, lamps and banners, moving through the Innenstadt in the sober, strangely moving style these parades have kept for centuries. Several appearances across the day rather than one single march.
Why we picked it
A Saxon tradition you cannot buy a ticket for, falling on the national holiday in the middle of the priority week.
