About this event
An hour on how Vilnius actually came to eat the way it does, with professional guides tracing what Lithuanian, Polish, Jewish, Tatar and Karaim communities each contributed and how those kitchens borrowed from one another. It ends with a mini tasting of Lithuanian gastronomic specialities. Run in English for Lithuanian Gastronomy Week; arrive five to ten minutes early.
Why we picked it
English-language food history plus an actual tasting, free, on five dates across the month — unusually generous for a tourism board session.
