About this event
Woven conversations and textile forms of address. Morta Jonynaite gathers the memories of people close to her and fragments of stories heard from far away, then translates them into sculptural and textile objects and installations. The work explores attempts to communicate across generations, ideological regimes, languages and time zones — between presence and absence, earth and sky. Closes 4 October.
Why we picked it
