About this event
North America's largest Caribbean celebration takes over 1.3 miles of Eastern Parkway every Labor Day Monday. Masquerade bands in enormous feathered costumes move slowly behind steel pan and soca trucks, while the pavements turn into an open-air kitchen of jerk chicken, roti, fish cakes and griot. Millions turn out. Pick a spot early and stay put.
