Drummer Bobby Sanabria's Multiverse Big Band is one of the most exhilarating large ensembles in Latin jazz, and here it backs salsa vocalist Charlie Aponte, long the voice of El Gran Combo, plus Dominican-American singer Judy Santos. DJs Connie and Medina fill the gaps. Four hours on a Sunday evening, no charge, and plenty of room to dance.
