About this event
The Museum of the City of New York waives admission on summer Wednesdays and holds its doors open until 9pm, giving a long, unhurried evening with its full slate of exhibitions on the city's history, activism, photography and street life. A pop-up bar runs from 5 to 9pm with cocktails, soft drinks and snacks, right at the top of Museum Mile.
Why we picked it
A free late-night run of the city's own museum, with a bar, at the quiet end of Central Park's Museum Mile.
Free entry
Free entry on Wednesdays until 9pm. No residency or membership restriction stated. Note the Museum closes at 5pm on Wednesday 5 August, so late hours do not apply that date.
Registration
