About this event
For eight hours the city hands its widest avenues back to people. Traffic stops from lower Manhattan up through Harlem, and the roadbed fills with cyclists, skaters, strollers and pop-up rest stops running free fitness classes, art activations and live music. There is no route to follow and no finish line: wander as far as your legs allow, then turn around.
