About this event
NYC DOT closes a long spine of Manhattan streets to cars and hands them to people on foot, bikes and skates for eight hours. Along the route there are free fitness classes, performances, interactive art installations and rest stops, plus a New York Road Runners community running event. Walking up the middle of Park Avenue is the whole point.
