About this event
For eight hours on a Saturday morning the traffic simply stops and the avenue belongs to whoever walks, cycles, runs or skates down it. NYC DOT hands the roadway back to people and fills it with free fitness classes, performances, interactive art and giveaways. Standing in the middle of Park Avenue and hearing birds instead of horns is the whole point.
