About this event
Bach's Chaconne — arguably the most demanding few minutes in the solo violin repertoire — set beside Mario Davidovsky's Synchronisms, where live players duet with electronics. Three centuries apart, both pieces ask one performer to hold a whole world together.
Why we picked it
An unusually bold free programme pairing the Bach Chaconne with mid-century electroacoustic writing.
Free entry
Carried with Lincoln Center's structured "free" calendar marker, which the same calendar withholds from Juilliard's ticketed Drama and Orchestra dates that month.
Registration
Registration needed
limited capacity
A third-party event from official public listings, checked by Glentio. Programmes can change. Confirm on the organiser's site.
