About this event
The world's largest free kayaking programme, run entirely by volunteers, puts you on the Hudson with the Statue of Liberty off your bow and no charge whatsoever. Sit-on-top kayaks stay inside a protected embayment beside Pier 26, so no experience is needed — volunteers fit your life vest and give a short paddling briefing. Twenty-minute sessions, no booking, and lines that close early on hot weekends.
