About this event
Volunteers hand you a boat, a life jacket and a paddle, and you take a short spin in the protected embayment north of Pier 26 with lower Manhattan behind you. No experience needed, no charge, and no way to book ahead. Sign a waiver, join the line and go. Weekend sessions continue every Saturday and Sunday into October.
