Labor Day weekend kayaking on the Hudson, free and first come first served. Volunteers rig sit-on-top boats on the dock, hand out life vests and keep an eye on paddlers inside the marked embayment. Trips run roughly twenty minutes, so several groups can get on the water each hour.
