About this event
The boathouse opens specially for Labor Day, one of the few Mondays it runs all season. Free kayaks and life jackets, a short supervised paddle in the embayment beside Pier 26, and no booking of any kind. With much of the city away for the long weekend it is one of the calmer days to get out on the Hudson.
