About this event
Pierpont Morgan's private library — triple-tiered walnut bookcases, a painted ceiling, Gutenberg Bibles and Old Master drawings — opens its galleries free for three hours every Friday evening. It is one of Manhattan's most atmospheric interiors and one of its least-mobbed free windows, tucked a few blocks from Madison Square. The Morgan Shop and Café need no ticket at all.
