About this event
The Los Angeles Public Library's Neighborhood Science Initiative opens a month-long citywide biodiversity hunt in which residents photograph local wildlife to help scientists map LA's ecosystems. The Griffith Park kick-off brings family-friendly nature exploration, wildlife journaling and a primer on contributing sightings via the iNaturalist app, with partners from city recreation, water and natural history bodies. Light refreshments and a water station are provided.
