Young V&A's Play Champions run a drop-in hour every Saturday afternoon in the interactive galleries: no booking, no signing up, no craft-kit fee. Families arrive, join whatever adventure the team has set up that week and leave when the children have had enough. The museum around it is one of the best places in London to take a small person on a wet day.
