Part of the museum's "Erinnerungen an den Herbst '89" series, Olaf Stelmecke's quartet plays the chansons, ballads and rock songs that carried East German longing for self-determination — Puhdys, Renft, Lift, Karussell, Keimzeit, alongside Gundermann, Wenzel and Gerhard Schöne. Live music threaded with anecdotes and readings, from musicians who grew up inside the repertoire.
