Irina Chistiakova opens the 36th Leipzig Chopin Days at the Polish Institute, playing and singing: three waltzes from Op. 34, the F sharp minor Nocturne, the A flat Impromptu, the Fantaisie-Impromptu and the second and fourth Ballades, then Liszt's Norma reminiscences and Dalila's aria from Saint-Saëns's Samson et Dalila. Admission free.
