About this event
Ekkehard Maaß sings Wolf Biermann's songs in the German National Library's lecture room, part of the »Mediengeschichte des Protests« strand. Maaß's Berlin flat was a hub of GDR dissident culture, which makes him about as close to the source as a Biermann evening can get without Biermann himself.
