The Finnish Air Force Big Band swaps the parade ground for the Esplanadi bandstand, delivering swing, brass and big-band standards to whoever happens to be passing on a Friday lunchtime. Military bands in the Nordics are quietly excellent, and this one plays with real punch. A free, high-energy hour that turns a city-centre park into a dance floor.
