Offenbach's Orphée aux Enfers — the operetta that gave the world the can-can — in a fast, funny abridged hour with English narration. It is the broadest comedy of the four-week season and the easiest to bring someone to who claims not to like opera. Grass banks and stepped seating; picnics encouraged.
