About this event
Trunk or treat is the American suburban invention that Chicago's parks have thoroughly adopted: cars decorated for Halloween, parked in a row, with children in costume working their way down the line for sweets. Shabbona Park's seventh edition adds craft tables and games, and happens right in front of the fieldhouse.
Why we picked it
A classic, very American Halloween ritual in its seventh year on the north-west side.
