About this event
Cerqua Rivera pairs its professional dance ensemble with its own jazz orchestra, then stops between pieces so the dancers and musicians can explain what you just watched. It is a 45 to 60 minute programme built for people who have never bought a dance ticket, staged in a North Lawndale fieldhouse instead of a theatre.
Why we picked it
Professional dance with a live jazz orchestra, performed and explained for free in a neighbourhood park.
