About this event
Jazz City is the Jazz Institute of Chicago's long-running free concert series, and this Uptown date pairs the youth Jazz Links Ensemble at 18:30 with the Sabertooth Quartet at 19:00. Sabertooth are a Chicago late-night institution, so hearing them indoors at a reasonable hour with no cover is a small gift.
Why we picked it
World-class Chicago jazz with no cover charge, in a neighbourhood community centre rather than a club.
