About this event
Every two years half a million dahlias are laid across 1,300 m² of the Grand-Place. The 2026 design marks 160 years of Belgian-Japanese relations: "Neo-Hokusai", by artist Hiro Sugiyama and his Enlightenment collective, reworking The Great Wave off Kanagawa in cut flowers. A sound-and-light show runs on the half hour each evening, and for the first time a second carpet appears at the Bourse.
