About this event
Brussels' oldest folklore tradition, attested since 1308 and inscribed on UNESCO's heritage list, sees the Buumdroegers carry a young tree through the city to the Grand-Place before 5pm. A festive procession accompanies it with giants, a brass band, the companions of St Laurent and the cavaliers of the Wheel of Fortune. A joyful, deeply local free street spectacle.
